On arrival
In the reception you can rent bed linen/towels as well as baby cots/chairs.
Should anything be wrong with your cabin or camping pitch you must notify the reception as soon as possible after discovery.
It is important that all guests know about and follow the rules and regulations that apply while staying at Sommarvik. Our regulations are available in the reception and here on our website. We wish you a pleasant stay!
On departure
If you have stayed in a cabin, it must be cleaned before your departure. Final cleaning can be purchased as an additional extra service, but you must still take out the trash and do the dishes. Broken china or inventory should be paid in the reception before departure. We will check the cabin after you have checked out. If the cleaning is not satisfactory, we will charge an extra fee.
Keys and access cards must be returned to the reception or placed in the postbox outside the reception. Since the access cards will be returned it is a good idea to drive out through the gates before checking out.

During your stay
Use only charcoal- or gas grills. Fire wood only in the designated BBQ areas on site. Be responsible and and make sure to handle all charcoal residues in a safe way.
CHARGING POSTS
Charging posts for electric vehicles at the main parking area (see map). Pay with your access card, SEK 150:-/3 h for checked-in guests.
DOGS/PETS
Dogs/pets are welcome but should be kept on a leash and are not allowed in the pool area, on the beach or in the shop and restaurant. Dog beach is south of the north docks (see map). Dog shower is in Kjelles service building.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Fire extinguishers are placed all over the campsite (see map). Find out where the nearest fire extinguishers are so that you can get hold of them quickly if needed.
FIRST AID KIT & DEFIBRILLATOR
First aid kit and defibrillator available in the reception. In case of emergency, call 112.
FREEZER PACKS
Freezer packs can be traded in for frozen ones in the reception or shop.
GATES
The main gate is open between 07.00-22.00. Passage on other times at an extra cost. In emergencies, contact the staff on call.
HOT WATER
The amount of heated water may vary due to different capacity of the water heaters. If there are many who want to shower we recommend short showers so the hot water will last longer.
INTERNET/WIFI
We offer free wifi in most parts of the area.
Iron can be borrowed in the reception. Ironing board in the service building Centrum.
MAIL BOX
Mail box for outgoing mail by the gate to the North side. Stamps for sale in the shop.
NO SMOKING
No smoking in cabins or other buildings, or in public places such as pool area, playgrounds, outside restaurants or entrances. If not respected, you could be charged with a fee of SEK 2000:-.
PARKING
Checked-in guests may park one car by the cabin/pitch. Other cars can park in the guest parking lot by the main entrance.
PAYMENT
You can pay with most credit cards on site. Cash is not accepted in the restaurant, poolbar, ice cream café and rental facility. In the poolbar you can pay through the app Happy Order. In the rental facility you can pay through their online booking.
QUIET TIME
It should be quiet between 23.00-07.00. During peak season we have staff patrolling the area every night.
RADIATORS
The temperature in the cabins are regulated by a thermostat. If too high, do not open windows or doors because the thermostat will automatically raise the temperature. Instead, lower the temperature on the thermostat.
SPEED LIMIT
The speed limit within the area is fixed at 20 km/h. Pay attention and keep in mind that there are many children in the area.
STAFF ON CALL
Phone number to staff on call is available outside the reception. Use only for emergencies.
VISITORS OF GUESTS
Visitors of guests are welcome during daytime but you are responsible for making sure they follow the rules & regulations on site. It is not allowed to let someone else through the gates. Guest parking at the area Strandtorpet (see map).
Fire safe camping
LPG bottles must never lie down – then the safety valve will not work. Always keep good ventilation and check the connections regularly. LPG equipment must be placed at least 60 cm from combustible material. Always make sure that your electrical equipment is in safe condition. Cables must be CE-marked and undamaged.
BARBEQUE SAFELY
Be responsible when using a grill. The grill should be on a flat and non-combustible surface, at least one meter from a camping unit or cabin. Never leave the grill unattended. Place used charcoal in the designated container at the recycle station. Used charcoal can retain heat and glow for up to three days.
IN CASE OF FIRE
If a fire should start you must be prepared to intervene. When the emergency services arrive, it is often too late. Act according to the principle: HELP – WARN – ALARM – EXTINGUISH; HELP those in immediate danger – WARN others in danger – ALARM call the emergency services, dial 112 – EXTINGUISH the fire if possible. Find out where the nearest fire extinguishers are so that you can get hold of them quickly if needed.
