Welcome to Sommarvik in Årjäng
Sommarvik is a family friendly resort in the beautiful south west of Värmland, and has been here for over 50 years. We offer 70 cabins and 300 camping pitches in a stunning environment close to nature.
Sommarvik is located on a slope facing Lake Västra Silen, which means that most of the cabins and camping pitches have lakeviews. Lake Västra Silen is a clear water lake and one of the largest in Dalsland Canal’s lake system. Exploring nature from a canoe is a wonderful and relaxing activity for the entire family, and something you should not miss while staying with us.
When we ask our visitors what they like best with Sommarvik, most of them reply ”the child-friendliness”. That there is so much for the children to do – multiple playgrounds, Kids Club with many activities, the beach and not least the pool area with amazing views of the lake. Many also say that it is a cozy campsite with a familiar atmosphere and good service, with beautiful surroundings. And the landscape surrounding Sommarvik really is beautiful! The glittering lake inviting you to go for a swim or going out with a canoe, and the lovely forests that make you want to slow down, breathe and just feel the calm spreading through your body.
