Camping pitches at Sommarvik
The camping pitches at Sommarvik has been categorized using different colours to mark the pitches’ location and price category. Within each colour category the pitches are grouped according to size, pitch facilities and which type of vehicle the pitch is suitable for, to make it easier for you to find the pitch most suitable for your family within the area you prefer.

Pink area | Electricity | Water | Lakeview
Our pink pitches are beautifully located on the south side of the campsite, in a single row with clear views of the lake. A paved road separates the pitches from the light blue area behind them. Between each pitch is a pole with electrical outlet and water post, which is shared with the neighboring pitch. All pitches are on grass with parking on asphalt.
These pitches are close to the pool area and Kids Club, about 50-100 meters.
The closest service building is either Centrumhuset or Barbros Hus, both at a distance of between 70-115 meters.
Pink camping pitch max 8 meters
Maximum length: 8 meters for mobile homes or caravans incl. towbar

Area: Pink category on the south side of the campsite, with lakeview
Purple area | Electricity | Water/drainage | Lakeview
Our purple pitches are beautifully located on the south side of the campsite, in a single row without any adjacent pitches in front of or behind them, and they all have amazing views of the lake. Between each pitch is a pole with electrical outlet as well as water post and drainage, which is shared with the neighboring pitch. All pitches are on grass with parking on gravel.
These pitches are a bit secluded in a quieter area, about 120-180 meters from the center.
The closest service building is Barbros Hus which is about 75-130 meters away.
Purple camping pitch max 8 meters
Maximum length: 8 meters for mobile homes and caravans incl. towbar
Pitch facilities: Electricity, water, drainage
Size: About 65-70 sqm
Surface: Gravel/grass

Dark blue area | Electricity
Our dark blue pitches are close to the mini-SPA on the north side of the campsite. They are placed just behind the cabins Sjöstugorna with the lake and beach visible on the other side. From here you don’t have far if you feel like going for a swim! All pitches are on grass with parking on asphalt.
Because the main building and center is facing south, the north side of the campsite can be a bit more quiet compared to the south side, since the noises coming from the pool area and center do not reach as far. The distance to the center is about 100 meters.
The closest service building is Centrumhuset which is about 65-95 meters away.
Dark blue camping pitch max 9 meters
Maximum length: 9 meters for mobile homes and caravans incl. towbar

Area: Dark blue category on the north side of the campsite
Brown area | Electricity
Our brown pitches are located on the north side of the campsite. Because the main building and center is facing south, the north side of the campsite can be a bit more quiet compared to the south side, since the noises coming from the pool area and center do not reach as far. The distance to the center is about 50-150 metres.
The closest service building is either Centrumhuset, Bodils Hus or Thores Hus, all at a distance of between 20-100 meters.

Our light blue pitches are centrally located on the south side of the campsite. All pitches are on grass with parking on asphalt. Each pitch has access to a water post and drainage, which is shared with 1-3 neighboring pitches.
The light blue pitches are close to the center, about 60-130 meters.
The closest service building is either Centrumhuset or Barbros Hus, both at a distance of between 60-110 meters.
Light blue mobile home pitch max 6 meters
Maximum length: 6 meters for mobile homes

Yellow area | Electricity
Our yellow pitches are located both on the north and the south side of the campsite. The pitches on the north side are suitable for caravans and are all on grass. Because the main building and center is facing south, the north side of the campsite can be a bit more quiet compared to the south side. These pitches are also all close to a playground, about 5-50 meters. The closest service building is Thores Hus which is about 5-60 meters away.
The pitches on the south side are suitable for mobile homes, with parking spaces on asphalt. These pitches are close to the pool area and Kids Club, about 40-80 meters. The closest service building is Centrumhuset which is about 65-100 meters away.
Yellow camping pitch max 7 meters
Maximum length: 7 meters for tents and caravans incl. towbar

Our unmarked tent pitches without electricity are located on the north side of the campsite, next to the cabins Rovfåglarna. The area is quiet and secluded and has about 250 meters to the closest service building.
Keep this in mind when booking a camping pitch at Sommarvik
When booking a camping pitch online you can filter your search and specify the type of vehicle you have as well as the length of the vehicle. You can then choose which area/colour category you prefer. When you book online, it is not possible to book a specific pitch number, but you can write if you have any specific preferences. If you want to book a specific pitch number, you will need to book by phone or e-mail.
When booking, we want to know what kind of vehicle you have, the maximum length of the vehicle and whether you have any special requests regarding the area, pitch facilities or other things.
Many of our camping pitches are available for booking all year. If you plan to stay at Sommarvik during the off-season or during times when the reception is closed, we kindly ask you to book in advance. You can do this easily through our online booking, but you can also email or call the reception.
